"people who cast the votes don't decide an election, the people who count the votes do.” Joseph Stalin quotes (Russian Prime Minister, Communist leader and Political Dictator. Governed from 1929-53. 1879-1953)
To All Skokie Residents:
The ordinary people that work at or for the Village of Skokie are good, honest and hard working people. They have kids just like you and me.Police officers hate issuing tickets more than you hate getting them. They became police officers to be a superhero, fight crime and stop the bad guys. Peace officers put there badge and risk their lives for us. Likewise other employed people like firefighters, teachers and social workers are really hard working, honest and motivated public servants.
Brief Case Study & Exapmle: The failures in Iraq and Afghanistan are the failures of our elected officials in Congress and the White House. Not our soldiers. The patriotism, bravery and sacrifices of our armed service members are incredible. The US armed services have accomplished everything they were ordered to do and then some more. The officials in Congress and the White House (Both Obama & Bush Administration) have consistently failed to have Iraq’s & Afghanistan’s neighboring nation’s states to replace our US personnel with their respective armed forces. In other words, except for the executive branch, the public servants of the Village of Skokie are innocent. Nevertheless, when our brave women and men return back home, they deserve much better leadership then we presently have. From Capitol Hill to the heartland of America like small municipalities and townships like Skokie.
Enron all over again? The scathing criticisms here are directed solely, specifically and intentionally at the executive branch of the Village of Skokie. The Mayor, Village Manager and any other officers of the Village of Skokie that make decision and policy makers are responsible for the wellbeing, safety and prosperity of Skokie. I have heard so many complaints by so many peoples. And yes, some employees of the Village of Skokie has said they are concerned but are afraid to say anything for fear of losing their jobs in these terrifying economic times of unemployment.
The Village of Skokie is like a marvelous ship; Full of wonders and treasures with all the many diverse residents bring with them. But if the ship is sinking into economic abyss because it is heading in the wrong direction of nepotism, corruption and bankruptcy then it is time for change. The ship needs a new captain democratically elected by the people for the people.
PICTURE 1: No Parking Sign for tree trimming. Why not for snow removal?
PICTURE 2:Village of Skokie vehicle that got stuck in the snow while issuing parking violations for 2 inches of snow! Surreal! Wow! Couldn’t the Village of Skokie vehicles be better used to place No Parking Signs for Snow Removal?
PICTURE 3: Lin-Mar Towing receipt. Talk about shady practices. Adding on a an additional $50.00 for coming after 5PM! What’s kind of shady business is the Village of Skokie doing?
PICTURE 4:VILLAGE OF SKOKIE ADMINISTARTIVE HEARING APPEARANCE for February 10th, 2010.
PICTURE 5:Village of Skokie Disposition. Wow! Talk about hand writing analysis of guilt and trying to hide something with the small signature. Also I was told instead of $50.00, I could pay $35.00 because the Village of Skokie waived the late fee? WHAT LATE FEE? I was there at the hearing on time ???
Today I went to the (VILLAGE OF SKOKIE ADMINISTARTIVE HEARING APPEARANCE). A common trick of the trade for some scam artists is to use CAPITAL LETETRS instead of lower case letters in documentation to sound official and hope the BOLD LETTERS INTIMIDATE the victim into paying some fee. Like when lawyers talk with an absurdly loud, strong and heavy tone voiced.
Also charge a higher price like say $50.00 and lower it to $35.00 like some snake oil salesman! So $35.00 is less of a scam than a $50.00 scam!
In any regard, what really got me disturbed today was not even being able to contest the towing of my car for a snow removal violation. I considered it illegal that may car got towed because there were no notices (signs, publications, etc.) about towing cars in violation of snow removal. The VILLAGE OF SKOKIE ADMINISTARTIVE HEARING APPEARANCE refused to even look at or examine my receipt of the towing of my car!
This occurred January 8, 2010. Since my complaints I am told the Village of Skokie has begun posting notices on their website about being towed just recently. Wow how considerate!
What made me very upset today was when I was talking to a neighbor how she has a clearly marked handicapped parking space and forced to move her car for the 2 inch snow removal ordinance? The elderly lady said she has resided in Skokie for over 30 years. And she just wants to move away!
Have Village of Skokie elections occur April 2009; and NOT February and November which is when most, widely accepted and publicly acknowledged elections occur. By having the elections in April 2009 less people will vote because they will be assuming voting will be in February and November. This way you can avoid an open, fair and honest election by the people for the people. The election should be just for you and your friends and no one else.
Ticket as many people as possible. Make the time and hours as broad and confusing as possible. Say from 8 AM to 6 PM. This way you can ticket cars while parents are trying to get their kids ready for school for the 8:45 AM drop off time. Also when the streets may or more often than not may not be cleaned by 6 PM you can ticket the hard working person just returning home tired and in the dark after winter hours. Don’t put notices like street signs, signs on trees or publications. And for extra revenue use a tow truck to tow the cars for even more money.
Do not clean the streets in the first place so it’s made more difficult to find parking! This way their cars will get stuck and are easy prey for ticketing!
My next VILLAGE OF SKOKIE ADMINISTARTIVE HEARING APPEARANCE is scheduled for February 17th, 2010at 9:30 AM. Please feel free to visit the hearing proceedings to judge for yourself.
