Update:
This is my most recent update since my last post. In any regard, several weeks ago I attempted to contest the ticket for more than 2 inches of snow violation to no avail and my illegal towing of my car thereafter being ticket. And yes, my car was legally parked.
Inasmuch, I asked the Village of Skokie clerks how can I inquire further into my towing of my since I already paid over $100.00 for the illegal towing.
The clerks sent me upstairs in Village Hall to talk to a older lady representing herself as an attorney for the Village of Skokie. She, the lawyer for the Village of Skokie unequivocally blamed the Skokie Police and Skokie Fire Department for the towing of my car. Wow! The lawyer for the Village of Skokie blaming the very people serving and protecting the public at large!
What does this all mean? It means expect an extremely dangerous 2010 for ordinary law abiding citizens of Skokie. Meaning the rank and file most have very low morale. Their immediate supervisors or Village Board and the Mayor, hence their job security, is at risk so they cant just complaint out loud or voice their concern. I am very worried.
We should allow a way for the Skokie Police Officers and Skokie Fire Department employees a chance to voice their concerns without any reprisals or fear of losing their jobs?
My only advice is please consider buying an alarm system like ADT or whatever! Start a neighborhood crime watch program like Chicago! If the City Hall or Village Hall of Skokie is corrupt then expect other corrupt or criminally like minded people to come to Skokie to take advantage of this dire situation.
Today’s date is March 18th, 2010. I hope I am wrong
